I acknowledge the privilege I have received from a generous Lord
What may I give to the Lord for all the good things he has done for me? I will take the cup of salvation, and give praise to the name of the Lord. I will make the offering of my oath to the Lord, even before all his people.
– Psalm 116: 12-14
Let us pray for those struggling to shield an addiction from their coworkers
In God’s eyes, addictions are avenues for salvation. They provide the impetus I need to finally surrender my life to God. My addiction is ‘exhibit A’ among my proofs for why I can’t manage the job of being my own savior.

In Conversation with God
In tribute to those in my life who have taken on the responsibilities of motherhood, I pray

Let us continue to pray for each other

Notes to Myself: My Struggle to Become a Person
Let us continue to pray together
It is on this occasion of Thanksgiving in America that we openly acknowledge how blessed we are by the company that we keep. As we sit down with our families and other friends this holiday, please know that you and your families will continue to be in our humble prayers of thanks.
As we begin Autumn, may our work reap plentiful harvests
So if you faithfully obey the commands I am giving you today-to love the Lord your God and to serve him with all your heart and with all your soul- then I will send rain on your land in its season, both autumn and spring rains, so that you may gather in your grain, new wine and oil.
May we be fully alive in our work and in our prayer today, we pray
The Glory of God is the human person fully alive. How do we get there? How do we become fully alive? One day at a time - in prayer.

I Think I Am Happier Than I Think I Am
Let us enjoy the fruits of our labors this day
If there lurks in most modern minds the notion that to desire our own good and earnestly hope for the enjoyment of it is a bad thing, I submit that this notion is no part of the Christian faith.
