Daily Prayer for May 7th, 2008

Let us pray on the promise of Romans 8:28 which says ‘We know that all things work together for the good of those who love God: those who are called according to His purpose’

In my experience the bad days have been exceptions rather than rules. But some people face a lifetime of adversity. During such times, we’re swimmers drawn toward open water by powerful undertows of doubt. We grieve and weep and sometimes feel we’re drowning. But what if we knew it would turn out well, whatever we are facing? What if Romans 8:28 really were more than a cliche? What if it always worked? Would it make a difference to you?

In my experience and in hindsight i believe that things do really work out well for those who love God… sometimes it will take years or a lifetime before you have proof of this… remember the same terrible/disastrous experience can be manure to some and just dung to others!
