Hello Subscriber, These economic times have affected us, too. And for that reason, we ask that if you have not already considered making a voluntary subscription payment this year, please consider doing so now. I am one of the founders of the service, and the editor who compiles the Morning Briefings. We began the service in 2006 using personal funds of the founders figuring that monetization for maintaining the service would become evident. What we discovered was that although our message is spread via the internet, discipleship is still passed on one person at a time. Secondly, because we offer a quiet place for spiritual reflection, our subscribers do not want it cluttered with advertisements. So, three years later, we have a service that while highly valued by those who receive it, remains quaint by internet service standards. To keep it going, we need to be able to cover the following expenses: taxes, contract labor (accountant, web master) web hosting expenses for the email service as well as the blog, bank fees and all the other G&A expenses. The service continues to be a labor of love for those of us who started it and work it everyday. We give our word that all funds received go into expenses directly related to keeping the service alive.
A one time voluntary subscription payment
from each subscriber would go a long way toward that end.
(We suggest an annual fee ranging from $12--that's only $1 a month--to preferably, $50 per year--less
than $1 a week.) However, whether or not you are able to participate financially at this time, please
keep us in your prayers. You will remain in ours. We will continue to keep the service free to all who
have asked for it for as long as we can.
